Welcome to the inaugural post in Inner Diamond Academy! [Insert celebration dance here.]
I realize I'm starting it with a rather personal question, but it's an important one to ask yourself.
I first heard of this concept from Jack Canfield (way before his Chicken Soup fame). He told a story about how we all start out as human diamonds: beautiful, strong, valuable in our own right. But as we go through life, somehow we decide we're not strong, not beautiful, not valuable, and our innate brilliance gets covered with the poo of "should"s, demands for perfection, feelings of unworthiness...you get the idea.
But then we say, "Hey, I don't want to take this poo-covered mess out into the world! I've got to make it look at least half-way decent!" So we do the emotional equivalent of putting nail polish over the mess to hide it -- totally forgetting that what's at the core of each of us is actually...kind of fabulous.
Inner Diamond Academy's programs and products were developed as tools for when you're ready to de-gunk that fabulousness. In my lyrical moments, I think of my offerings as a collection of revitalizing, cleansing, flowing streams and thundering waterfalls you can immerse yourself in. The more gunk you rinse off, the brighter you shine, and the more you feel a renewed excitement about a life that makes your heart sing.
I'm so happy you found your way here so we can explore that process together.
Shine on!
(BTW, thanks to mslavick for posting the "no pooping" image in the Creative Commons section of Flickr.)
Never miss out on a tool for power-washing that inner diamond of yours.
